Our standards
Gift Safety Policy
Chamojo is built around one idea: a surprise should feel safe, personal, and easy to enjoy. That means we are deliberate about what we will and will not send.
What we never send
We do not stock, source, or deliver products that fall into any of these categories:
Sexual or intimate products
Anything intended to be sexually explicit, intimate, or suggestive. Recognition at work should never feel uncomfortable or inappropriate.
Political or divisive items
No political messaging, party affiliation, religious symbolism, or causes that could divide a team. A gift should bring people together, not make them pick a side.
Alcohol, tobacco, and drugs
We do not send alcohol, tobacco products, vaping items, drug paraphernalia, or anything intended to alter mood or state. Every recipient should be able to enjoy the gift without hesitation.
Weapons, tools of harm, or aggressive imagery
No knives, firearms, weapons, blades, or objects with violent or aggressive branding. A gift should signal care, not risk or intimidation.
Potentially harassing or personal-health items
No weight, fitness, grooming, self-improvement, or medical products that could imply judgment about someone's body, lifestyle, or health. These moments are about appreciation, not critique.
Items of questionable ethics or origin
No products made through exploitative labor, environmentally harmful practices, or supply chains we cannot verify. We choose local, responsible, and transparent sources.
Overly promotional or branded merchandise
No corporate swag, cheap logoed items, or promotional giveaways. A gift should feel like it was chosen for the person, not for the brand.
How we enforce it
Curated catalog. We only work with products that have been reviewed against this policy. Items that are borderline, easily misinterpreted, or depend on personal context are left out.
Human review. Every AI recommendation is checked by a Chamojo specialty care giver before it ships. If a product could feel off in any way, it is replaced.
Local sourcing. We source and ship within the recipient's region, working with makers and suppliers we trust. This gives us visibility into what we are sending and helps us avoid mass-produced items of uncertain origin.
No workarounds. Budgets, preferences, and availability never override this policy. If a recipient's profile suggests a category we avoid, we choose a different direction entirely.
Questions or concerns
If you ever see something that does not feel right, or you want to know whether a specific product fits our policy, please reach out to the Chamojo team. We would rather have a short conversation than send the wrong gift.
This policy is maintained by Chamojo to explain our gift standards and is reviewed regularly. Last updated July 2026.
